Seguimos con nuestras actividades conmemorativas del 50º Aniversario del IES Antonio Gala, y ya hace un par de semanas que inauguramos en el Ayuntamiento de Palma del Río una exposición fotográfica en la que se representan momentos y personas de la historia de nuestro Centro.

La exposición se encuentra en la planta baja del Ayuntamiento, y consta de 20 paneles expositores temáticos relacionados con eventos y/o personas de nuestro Centro. Hay algunos paneles que remarcan la huella que han dejado alguno profesores en el IES Antonio Gala, como fueron D. Antonio García Chaves, D. Antonio Montero o D. Gabriel Castilla; otros paneles reflejan las visitas que nos ha hecho el escritor D. Antonio Gala; otros muestran diferentes tipos de actividades extraescolares, … Junto a estos paneles también hemos realizado un mural-mosaico con fotografías de un gran número de profesores y profesoras que han pasado por el IES Antonio Gala.

No podemos dejar de agradecer el gran trabajo realizado por el grupo de profesoras encargadas de realizar esta actividad: María Bravo, Mª Jesús Montoro, Miriam Gómez y Pepa Morales, así como reconocer el fantástico montaje de los paneles y el mosaico, llevado a cabo por Rafael Muñoz, antiguo alumno de nuestro Centro. Y por último, agradecer al Ayuntamiento de Palma del Río que nos haya cedido el espacio en el que están colgados los paneles, la planta baja de dicho Ayuntamiento, donde cualquier persona que quiera puede acercarse para ver esta exposición de fotografías.
