Rafael Ruiz Ortiz de Galisteo ha impartido en nuestro Centro unas charlas sobre efectividad, basándose en los estudios de Stephen R. Covey y en su best seller “Los 7 hábitos de la gente altamente efectiva”.

Stephen R. Covey (1932 – 2012) ha sido una autoridad internacionalmente respetada en materia de liderazgo, experto en familia, profesor, consultor de organizaciones y escritor. El Time lo incluyó en su lista de los veinticinco norteamericanos más influyentes y fue distinguido con siete doctorados honoris causa a lo largo de su vida. Tras varios años de estudios e investigaciones llegó a la conclusión de que las personas que alcanzan el éxito en su sentido más amplio se caracterizan por desarrollar y aplicar siete hábitos.[/fusion_text][/fusion_builder_column][fusion_builder_column type=”2_3″ last=”no” spacing=”yes” background_color=”” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” background_position=”left top” border_size=”0px” border_color=”” border_style=”” padding=”” class=”” id=””][fusion_text]La conferencia se ha desarrollado en dos sesiones. La primera sesión tuvo lugar en el SUM de nuestro Centro el lunes día 12 de enero, y en ella expuso los tres primeros hábitos de los que Covey habla en su libro. Estos tres primeros hábitos tratan del auto-dominio. Es decir, están orientados a lograr el crecimiento de la personalidad para obtener la independencia. Estos tres hábitos son los siguientes:

1.- Ser proactivo: Significa tomar la responsabilidad por su propia vida, y ejercitar la habilidad de seleccionar su respuesta ante cualquier estímulo.

2.- Empiece con un fin en mente: Este es el hábito del liderazgo personal, que indica la necesidad de comenzar cada día con un claro entendimiento de su dirección y destino deseados.

3.- Primero lo primero: En el hábito 1, aprendió que puede crear su propio paradigma. En el hábito 2, descubrió los principios básicos por los cuales debería vivir y trabajar. Rafael Ruiz explicó los otros cuatro hábitos:

Los hábitos del 1 al 3 tratan de “victorias privadas”, cómo trabajar consigo mismo para desarrollar su carácter. Los hábitos 4 al 6 lo llevarán a “victorias públicas”, cómo desarrollar la personalidad para tener éxito trabajando con otras personas.

4.- Piense en ganar/ganar: en el mundo hay mucho para todos, es decir no el éxito tuyo o el mío, sino que existe una tercera alternativa que engloba los deseos de ambas partes hasta llegar a un acuerdo mutuo benéfico.

5.- Procure primero comprender y luego ser comprendido: Este es el hábito de la comunicación efectiva. Es también el hábito más emocionante, y que puede poner en funcionamiento en forma inmediata.

6.- Favorezca la sinergia: sinergizar implica la cooperación creativa y el trabajo en equipo.

7.- Afilar la sierra: Es el hábito de la auto-renovación, el mantenimiento básico necesario para mantener los hábitos restantes funcionando Podemos considerar que estas conferencias han sido todo un acierto, con gran número de asistentes, hasta el punto que prácticamente nadie más cogía en nuestro SUM.
